Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

At just a young age of 34 I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Something I never thought possible for anyone of my age let alone me!

Since my diagnosis I have been on an rollercoaster of challenge but enlightenment, the community for Parkinson’s is phenomenal. I know now I’m not the only Young Onset. This happens more than I could’ve imagined and it doesn’t mean life is over.

I’m feeling positive and I want to be a voice, a movement for Parkinson’s as a whole. I am ready to take on my next challenge.

Yoga is very important to me, it’s my medicine in so many ways. I practice, I teach and generally yoga gives me so much confidence and courage. It has and always will be my priority medication, along with the hardcore stuff.

On the 16th May, I will be practicing yoga for 8 hours back to back to help raise awareness of PD AND YOPD. Some amazing local yoga teachers will be putting on some incredible classes, and you can join in too!

Support this wonderful cause, and exciting event by sponsoring me, practicing with me, supporting me and spreading the joy of this occasion far and wide.

Thank you for your kindness,

See you on the mat x
