Hello 👋

Whilst volunteering for The Wave Project as a surf mentor on the beaches, I have seen with my own eyes just how beneficial and live changing it is for the children's mental health and wellbeing through their award winning Surf Therapy programme.

The Wave Project deliver personal surf lessons for individuals with disabilities who may require additional support and equipment, through their Adaptive Surfing Hubs.

Aaaaand they partner with schools to offer specialist education programmes to enable pupils to learn outside the classroom - Beach School!

Surf Therapy is an evidence-based programme that enables children and young people to build confidence and overcome anxiety barriers through surfing and being in the ocean.

My mission is to summit Mount Kilimanjaro; the highest mountain in Africa and the highest single free-standing mountain above sea level in the world: 5,895m / 19,341 ft above sea level.

I am doing this in hope to raise my target amount for The Wave Project, to support and change young peoples lives.

I will also be hosting an Art & More Auction, and Raffle to help with these fundraising efforts.

Along with various smaller events and workshops, such as 'Walk, Talk & Dip'.
