I have always enjoyed pushing myself both physically and mentally, but if there's one thing I can't stand, it's the cold! So naturally, I've signed myself up for not one, but two challenges that will take me to some of the most extreme conditions imaginable - climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and skydiving from 10,000 feet in the air!

Why? Because challenges are worth facing, and this one is for a very special cause: Alzheimer's Scotland.

Alzheimer's is a cruel disease that steals memories, independence, and identity from those we love. It affects not just individuals but entire families, leaving them to navigate an uncertain and often heartbreaking journey. By taking on these challenges - battling through freezing temperatures, high altitudes and extreme physical exertion - I hope to raise as much money as possible to support the vital work Alzheimer's Scotland does for those affected.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. If I can endure the icy winds of Kilimanjaro and the terrifying freewill of a skydive, together, we can help provide support, research, and hope for those facing Alzheimer's.

I'll try to post regular updates of training and the hike and skydive on this page and you can follow along on my instagram: @megzcapades

Thanks!
