Supporting Student Minds & Young People’s Mental Health - Trekking to Make a Difference
This year, I’m taking on the Colombia Lost City Trek – to raise funds for Student Minds, a charity dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of students and young people.
The trek will take me into the Colombian jungle, navigating difficult terrain and pushing my limits, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges that young people face when it comes to mental health. As the pressures of school, social media, and growing up weigh heavily on many young minds, organisations like Student Minds provide critical support, guidance, and resources to help them navigate these challenges with strength and resilience.
In the meantime, I will be completing a series of events and challenges to help me raise more money for this amazing charity. One of which is the National Three Peaks Challenge, which I will try and complete in 24 hours!
By donating to my challenge, you will help provide essential services for young people who need mental health support, raise awareness about mental health issues, and ensure that no student has to face their struggles alone. Your contribution will fund programs that offer peer support, resources, and opportunities to speak out and get help.
Every donation – big or small – will make a real difference. Together, we can help empower young people to thrive and break the stigma surrounding mental health.
Thank you for supporting me on this adventure, and more importantly, for supporting the mental health of those who need it most!
