Hello everyone!

I am running the Dewsbury 10k in a few weeks time (not prepared at all, the weather hasn’t helped 🤣)

I thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to raise some money for the Samantha Sykes Foundation, a wonderful charity - here is a little bit about what the charity does:

“Our mission is to provide specialist support and therapeutic interventions to victims and those at high risk of child sexual exploitation, up to the age of 25. Through our referral process, we offer services like Psychotherapy and Trauma Counselling, empowering young individuals to heal and overcome their traumatic experiences.

But that’s not all we do. We also believe in the power of education and strive to support looked-after children and care leavers in accessing further and higher education. By providing essential resources such as books, equipment, laptops, private tutoring, and travel passes, we aim to remove any barriers that hinder their journey towards reaching their full potential.”
