Welcome to our Team 2027 London Marathon Page! Follow here for updates from our team of incredible runners who will be lacing up their trainers and running 26.2 miles for Hope House Children's Hospices on Sunday April 25th!

Story

Every mile I run in the London Marathon will be for Hope House Hospice, a charity that is close to our families heart.

My daughter, Darcie, has complex medical needs and lives with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC2), drug-resistant epilepsy, autism and profound learning disabilities. Life can be incredibly challenging, unpredictable and emotionally exhausting, but Hope House has been there for us through it all.

They don’t just provide respite; they provide a safe place where families like ours can breathe. They offer specialist care, support, understanding and compassion during some of our hardest days. Whether it’s giving us time to rest, creating happy memories for our girls, or simply reminding us that we’re not facing this journey alone, Hope House has made an immeasurable difference to our lives.

As parents of a child with complex needs, there are times when the weight of caring can feel overwhelming. Knowing Hope House is there, ready to support us whenever we need them, is something we will never take for granted.

By supporting my fundraising, you’ll be helping Hope House continue to provide vital care, respite and emotional support to children with life-threatening conditions and their families. They make the impossible days feel a little more manageable and the good days even more special.

Thank you for helping me support this incredible charity. Together, we can ensure Hope House is there for every family who needs them, just as they’ve always been there for ours. ❤️
