Story
A little over a year ago, my wonderful step-dad, Stuart, passed away from cancer. In the last few days of his life, he was cared for by the wonderful charity Hospiscare in their Exeter hospice. All the staff there were unbelievably kind, generous, respectful, and I will be forever grateful to them for looking after both Stuart and us, his family, in those incredibly tough times.
Hospiscare only get 18% of their funding through the NHS. To continue to provide the vital services that they do for those in the East Devon and Exeter area, they need to raise around another £10 million per year.
On the 6th of April, I will be running the Brighton Marathon in memory of Stuart, and to raise money for Hospiscare. I would be very grateful for anything you could donate to this wonderful cause. As an added incentive for anyone that gives more than £10, I will allow you to add a song to my raceday playlist. This can be as motivational or off-putting as you would like, and I promise to listen to it out on the course.
Thank-you in advance for supporting this wonderful and vital charity!
