India is hosting the 2023 Street Child Cricket World Cup. As reigning champions, Karunalaya wants to use the event to end gender-based violence against girls and women living on Chennais streets and equip them to live the lives they dream of.

I'm joining the Director of Karunalaya and others to take part in a bike ride in Holland. We will ride almost 300 km and I am raising vital funds for Karunalaya's work.

Your donation will help Karunalaya to:

- provide 1:1 support, sheltered accommodation and counselling

- empower girls to know their rights and change their perceptions of themselves by helping them to stay in school and attend activity camps

- provide street-based classes in pavement-dwelling communities around the issues affecting girls, such as child marriage

- transform how society sees and treats girls and young women from pavement-dwelling communities through sports

- educate and work with police to take gender-based violence seriously
