Story
I have been selected to participate in Trek for Health 2025.
In February 2025 I will take on a 7-day challenge to climb to the summit of Mount Kenya. I will also visit an Amref Health Africa programme in Kenya where some of my fundraising will support.
I am one of 40 employees taking on this challenge across GSK & ViiV and we will represent 23 countries.
I am proud to take on this challenge, supporting Save the Children and Amref Health Africa because the feeling of being able to make a tangible difference for these charities and people through fundraising by doing a physical challenge is unmatched and I feel a strong sense of purpose because of it. Both of my parents work in healthcare so I also feel a real connection to GSK's purpose and the use of medicine to help people around the world, especially for children due to my own personal experience. Having completed Tough Mudder with GSK earlier this year I feel ready and excited to take on the next challenge, and I can't think of a better one than climbing Mount Kenya!
Together we aim to raise over £160,000 and this will be matched by GSK.
Thank you for your support!
