Its now 1 year since Megan was taken away from us, in that time we have tried to honour Megan by raising vital funds for Alder Hey Children's charity.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to this page since we set it up, and for helping to raise just under £23,000 in the first year.

Lots more activities to take place over the next 12 months and thank you to everyone who continues to remember and celebrate Megan by giving to this great cause.

Megan was sadly taken away from us aged just 17 after suffering a brain aneurism. Megan was such a caring young lady who wanted to be a neonatal nurse.

We as a family are extremely proud of Megan as she wanted to donate her organs. We made the difficult decision to fulfil her wish and it gives us some comfort knowing that Megan will live on by selflessly thinking of others.

Any donation is greatly appreciated to support such a wonderful charity that was close to Megan's heart.
