A few people offered to sponsor me this week when I said I was running the Great North Run (with pretty much zero training 😬).

Very last minute, but I've decided to use the opportunity to raise funds and awareness for a cause that has touched my life on too many occasions over the past 5 years.

Gynaecological cancers continue to go undetected and misdiagnosed and many women are unaware of the symptoms and even the existence of some of them.

The Eve Appeal are helping to raise awareness, fund research and support those affected by gynaecological cancers:

- Cervical

- Ovarian

- Womb

- Vaginal

- Vulval

They're doing great things and it would be amazing to help them do more of it! (Not to mention the extra motivation it would give me for the 21km I'm putting myself through tomorrow)

Either way, please help by reminding your female friends and loved ones to book smears and screening tests and be aware of the symptoms of ALL gynaecological cancers. Know your body and if something isn't right, find a doctor who will listen.
