Running the Berlin Marathon in Honor of My Dad – Help Me Fight Brain Cancer

Berlin Marathon 2025 · 21 September 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
Dear Friends and Family,
I will be running the Berlin Marathon on September 21, 2025, in honor of my dad, who I lost to stage 4 brain cancer in May 2015. I was only 21 years old when I lost him, and the pain of that loss has never fully left me. Since then, I’ve made it my mission to ensure that no other child, spouse, or family has to experience the heartbreak of losing a loved one to this cruel disease. I’m running to raise awareness and funds for brain cancer research in hopes of one day finding a cure.
My dad was an incredible man who fought his diagnosis with unwavering strength and courage. He was my hero, and his memory lives on in everything I do. I believe that the more we fight, the more lives we can save.
Your contribution, will make a tangible impact, and it will honor the memory of my dad and the countless others who are fighting this battle.Together, we can bring hope to those affected by brain cancer and move closer to a cure.
Thank you for your support. Let’s run for a future where brain cancer is no longer a threat.
With gratitude,
Mehra
