Myself and Charlie are soon to be embarking on a very exciting trip to Zimbabwe to see the great work that the S.H.E. (Secure Hope Empowered) Programme delivers.

The S.H.E. Programme is part of the Catalyst Foundation. The mission of the Catalyst foundation is to provide educational opportunities to girls who otherwise would not have access to schooling in Zimbabwe and Zambia. By empowering young girls with education, they not only change lives but over time, transform their communities and contribute to broader development of their countries.

The foundation recognises that in order for a child to benefit fully from education, they require additional holistic support specific to their circumstances. The S.H.E. Programme therefore focusses on providing scholarships, building and renovating schools and supplying educational materials to ensure that every girl they support has the tools she needs to succeed.
