Melanie's fundraiser for The Children's Society

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
I found out about the Children's Society by teaching Year 5 about Edward Rudolf in History. Edward Rudolf lived during the Victorian Era and in 1881, he decided to dedicate his life to helping children out of poverty. This was the start of the Children’s Society and since then, it has helped improve the lives of many children who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Their work has evolved across the years and they are now a a national charity, working with young people to counsel and support them through their most serious life challenges. They campaign tirelessly for the big social changes that will improve the lives of those who need hope most. They have been doing this for 140 years and I am delighted to be able to contribute to their efforts.
I have pledged to raise £2000 for the Children’s Society and every donation, no matter what size, will allow them to continue their mission to help children in need. Thank you for your support.
