Elijah, Matilda and I will be joined by my mum (Kate) and dad (Graham) in braving The big sleepout together this year and spending the night on Merseyway Carpark to help raise money for the incredible Wellspring.

Elijah joined last year, but this is Matilda's first, so cough up for her first carpark sleep out!

Let’s be honest—spending one night without a roof over our heads can’t truly reflect the reality of homelessness.

The experiences of those we support are deeply complex and unique to each individual. But the Sleepout gives us a moment to reflect—to consider, even briefly, the challenges faced by people sleeping rough.

If we take that time to imagine how it might feel, we may find ourselves moved to make a difference.
