Story
"We lost our dear friend Simon Martin to cancer on November 1st 2024.
He battled for 18 months and left behind, family and friends that loved him and were at his side all the way.
We want to do something, to help others who’s lives are or will be affected by that dreaded disease. We hear of more friends joining the suffering week after week.
We feel the best way we can help is to give to a local charity and Simon’s Wife (widow doesn’t sound the right word for us) has suggested Sue Ryder.
Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
We know that Simon would be so pleased to help a local Charity such as the Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice. He was always such a generous man.
All proceeds will go to Thorpe Hall.
