As a trustee of Little Wings of Hope I’m honoured to be able to be involved with such an amazing charity that offers emotional and practical support to bereaved parents when they need it most.

Being a small charity we rely heavily on the generosity and support of others to keep us doing what we’re doing. That’s why I’ve decided that 2025 will be the year that I tackle Snowdon. Fitness and walking has helped me through a very difficult and challenging period in my life and now I have the opportunity to give something back.

Little Wings of Hope was created by Barry and Leila, to support other bereaved parents after our own heartbreaking experience of losing their son, Oscar, in 2023. From their grief grew a deep desire to help others facing similar pain. We support bereaved parents across the East of England by offering bereavement getaways, thoughtful care packages, and ongoing emotional support. Our aim is to provide comfort, connection, and a sense of hope during the most difficult times.
