It is just over a year since John Arthur got his official diagnosis and come February it will be a year since his prostatectomy and this challenge falls right in the middle of that time frame! Thankfully the operation was a success and no further treatment was needed, but not everyone is so lucky. I am taking part to help raise money to support ongoing research for this silent and invisible cancer.

I have recently started sea swimming and this challenge seems to be perfectly timed to help me focus as I anticipate the cold wintery water!
