As the only half marathon to go through both the City of London and City of Westminster, the London Landmarks Half is a special one on the calendar.

Story

Hello everyone,

This year I hit the big 5-0, along with my very good friend Grant Everard.

Rather than celebrate with a glass of bubbly (or two!), like most sensible people would, we have instead decided to mark the occasion in a slightly different way — by running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 12th April 2026! Running is a new hobby for me so this will be challenging and something I never thought would be possible.

We wanted to do something memorable, something challenging, and most of all something meaningful and positive. So, we're lacing up our running shoes to raise money for Chestnut Tree House, an incredible local charity that provides care and support to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as much needed support for their families, across Sussex and Southeast Hampshire.

Chestnut Tree House gives children the chance to live life to the fullest — no matter how short that life may be — offering specialist care, family support, and precious moments of joy. Every pound raised will help the hospice continue its amazing work, both in the hospice itself and out in the community. Grant and I are both deeply proud to be able to support such a wonderful charity.

Our minimum fundraising goal is £500 each, but we'd love to smash that target and go even further! Every donation, however big or small, will make a real difference (and keep us moving when the legs are begging us to stop!) Thank you so much for your generosity and encouragement.

With love and appreciation (prayers will be needed and appreciated!)
