Our Nightwalk has returned for 2025! And this year, we’re serving up carnival vibes for North Devon Hospice. Whether you want to enter solo, with a friend or as part of a team, we’d love to see you there.

Story

In October 2024, we lost one of the brightest stars, Stephanie Spamer, to cancer.

Taken far too soon in her 40s, Steph fought with extraordinary courage—always with her signature sparkle, infectious laugh, and of course, her trademark leopard print. She brought joy, strength, and endless laughter to everyone lucky enough to know her. If you knew Steph, you’ll know there were always moments of music, dancing, and laughing until you cried.

In her memory, a group of 14 of her North Devon friends—many of us lucky to have had her in our lives for over 25 years—are taking part in Nightwalk 2025. It’s a powerful event where women from across North Devon stride together under the stars to raise funds for hospice care. We’re walking not only for North Devon Hospice, but also for St Luke’s Hospice in Plymouth, who cared for Steph with such compassion in her final days.

Your donations and sponsorship will help ensure others receive that same love and dignity in their final moments.

£20 could fund an hour of counselling for a bereaved child

£50 could pay for an hour of dedicated nursing on a hospice ward

£100 could help a nurse support someone to die peacefully in their own home

Please sponsor us to walk in memory of our brilliant friend Steph, and in honour of so many others who have been cared for by truly special people.
