Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition that affects the lungs and digestive system. It causes thick, sticky mucus to build up, making it hard to breathe and digest food properly. People with CF need to take daily medications, do physiotherapy, and sometimes undergo treatments to stay as healthy as possible. Right now, there’s no cure, but with the help of amazing charities like the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, there’s hope for better treatments and, one day, a cure.

Hi, my name is Ollie, and I have something called cystic fibrosis. It means my lungs and digestive system don’t work quite the same as most people’s, but I don’t let it stop me! Every day, I have to do treatments and take medicine to stay healthy and strong, and I work really hard to keep doing the things I love.

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is super important to me because they help people like me live better lives. They fund research to find new medicines, support families like mine, and help raise awareness about what cystic fibrosis is. They’re making a real difference, and I want to be a part of that.

My Aunty Mel is raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, and I think it’s amazing! I want to help spread the word because every donation brings us closer to making life easier for people like me.
