Story
I’m taking on something I never thought I’d do… a half marathon!
On 6th September, along with my friend Nina, I’ll be running 21km in support of The Felix Project, an incredible charity that rescues surplus food that would otherwise go to waste and delivers it to 1,200 community organisations including food banks, charities and schools, helping to feed people across London who need it most.
If you know me, you’ll know that I am definitely not a runner, and I’d way prefer to spend my time at brunch or a sunny pub garden over a long run… so I’m not sure how Nina managed to get me to agree to do this but here we are!
It’s going to be a huge personal challenge and the training has already pushed me well outside my comfort zone but knowing I’m doing it for such a worthwhile cause and having your support behind me will keep me going on race day.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, I’d be so grateful. Every contribution will help The Felix Project continue its amazing work, and every donation will give me that little extra motivation when the inevitable aches and pains start kicking.
Thank you so much for your support - it means a lot!!
