Story
This April, my best friend Izzy Sheratte and I will be taking on the challenge of a lifetime – running the London Marathon 2026 – to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust, a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart.
I’ve seen first-hand the 💔 devastating impact cancer has on a young relative, and it opened my eyes to just how much it can turn a teenager’s world upside down. Facing cancer is tough at any age, but for teenagers and young people it can mean missing out on school, friends, milestones and the independence that makes those years so important.
I’ve also seen up close the 💙 incredible work Teenage Cancer Trust does thanks to my partner’s mum, Jen Duggan, who works as a Youth Support Coordinator for the charity. The difference she and her colleagues make to young people and their families is nothing short of inspiring. From emotional support 💬 to building a sense of community 🤝 and normality in the toughest of times, I know how vital this work is.
Where your donation goes
✨ Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to supporting young people aged 13–24 with cancer.
✨ Donations fund specialist nurses 🩺, Youth Support Coordinators like Jen 💙, and dedicated hospital units 🏥 designed just for teenagers — giving them care that understands their age and their needs.
✨ Every £30 raised could fund an hour of vital support ⏰ from a Youth Support Coordinator, helping a young person feel less isolated during treatment.
How you can help
🙏 Please donate whatever you can – big or small – to help us cross the finish line 🏁 not just in London, but in making a difference to young lives. Every pound raised will go directly to Teenage Cancer Trust to fund their vital work.
Together, we can help teenagers with cancer feel less alone and more supported. 💙🌍
Thank you so much for your support – it means the world to us. 🌟
