Every step I take in the Tokyo Marathon—my fifth World Major—is for something bigger than just crossing the finish line. It’s for my incredible friend Brooke, who lives with multiple sclerosis, and for the thousands of others affected by MS every day.

MS is a relentless condition, challenging mobility, strength, and independence. But Brooke? She faces it with unwavering courage and resilience, inspiring me beyond words. I want to honor her journey by using mine to make a difference. That’s why I’m running Tokyo in support of MS-UK, a charity dedicated to providing life-changing resources, support, and advocacy for those living with MS.

I’m also on my own mission—to earn the Abbott Six Star Medal, completing all six World Marathon Majors. Tokyo brings me one step closer, but more importantly, it gives me the chance to make these miles truly matter.
