Story
Hello!
I'm super proud (and slightly terrified) to be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 for The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation.
I'm running for Natasha, who was a wonderful friend I first met in primary school (nearly 15 years ago!).
Natasha had many serious allergies. In 2016, she died from anaphylaxis after eating a purchased sandwich that included sesame seeds (something she was allergic to) despite no label on the food packaging to indicate this. Natasha didn't deserve to die - no one should die from the food they eat.
Tanya and Nadim (Natasha's parents) set up the Foundation to try and prevent any other families from suffering as they have. So many lives have already been changed due to the introduction of Natasha's Law that requires all pre-packaged food to be fully labelled with the ingredients contained. Through campaigning, education and research, the charity’s mission is to #MakeAllergyHistory. Starting with food allergy, they want to create a world that is safe for everyone.
I would be so grateful for any donations (no mater how small) to my fundraising page as this is a cause close to my heart and will make a vital difference to the Natasha Foundation's work. It will have a true impact on the lives of so many people who live with food allergies.
#MakeAllergyHistory
