Memorial Stair Climb

Fire Fighters Charity provides care and support to the UK’s fire family. It helps with any health and wellbeing challenges firefighters, control staff, and everyone working in – or retired from – the UK’s fire services, as well as their families, may face - during and after service

Story

In September, a dedicated team from the Heanor, Ripley, and Alfreton leisure centres will embark on a remarkable journey, climbing 120 flights of stairs in honor of those who tragically lost their lives in the 9/11 tragedy. This Memorial Stair Climb is not just a physical challenge; it is a heartfelt tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of first responders everywhere.

As we ascend each step, we carry with us the memories of those who have fallen and the spirit of resilience that unites us all. Our mission is to raise vital funds for the Fire Fighters Charity, an organization that provides essential support to our courageous firefighters who risk their lives every day. We believe that by coming together as a community, we can make a meaningful impact.

We invite you to join us in this noble cause. Your generous support will help us reach our target of £500, enabling us to provide much-needed resources for those who dedicate their lives to keeping us safe. Together, let’s honor the past while supporting our heroes today.
