Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page for the MRSC 2023 ROWANS' CHARITY RACING WEEKEND on the 3rd and 4th of June 2023 .

Rowans Hospice provide palliative care to the highest quality for those living with a life-limiting illness in South East Hampshire. Hospice carers help improve quality of life for the patient by easing physical symptoms and offering psychological, spiritual and social support to both patients and their loved ones. Hospice care is available round the clock. Rowans receive a very small level of statutory support from the Government, however, almost all of the money needed to provide their services has to be raised through donations and fundraising.

This year at MRSC we are holding a Racing Weekend in support of Rowans Hospice. There will be Dragonforce65 Radio-Controlled Sailboat racing on the club pond on Saturday followed by dinghy racing in the harbour on Sunday.

Dragonforce65 racing starts at 1030 on Saturday and the first warning signal for dinghy racing is at 1100 0n Sunday.

Suggested donations for entry to both events(£10 adults; £5 juniors) can be left here. NOR and SOI for dinghy racing can be viewed at www.mengeham.org.uk

When leaving your donation for dinghy racing please leave your name and boat details, including sail number so we can confirm your participation. Alternatively donations may be made at MRSC or HISC on the day of the event when making your entry.

Thank you for your donation. Have a great day.
