Meols Milers have decided to embark on another year of fundraising for a local Wirral charity again. This year we have chosen Wirral Ark, an organisation dedicated to supporting those who are currently homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Our goal is to make a significant impact by collectively running and walking 24,000 miles in 2024 as a group. Additionally, we are taking on the challenge of a 24-hour treadmill run to push our limits and raise awareness.

To further support our cause, many of us will be participating in the Manchester Marathon, either running the full 26.2 miles or joining relay teams.

In addition to these events, we will be organizing a summer trail run series and hosting a kit and cake sale. These activities will not only raise funds but also bring our community together in support of those without a place to call their own.

With the current cost of living crisis, the need for organisations like Wirral Ark has never been greater. By supporting our fundraising efforts, you can directly contribute to providing shelter, resources, and hope for those who need it most.
