I have lived in the UK for 15 years. Originally from Bilbao, this year marks my fourth anniversary working at Saint Francis Hospice. I want to raise money for this amazing organisation that I have the privilege of being part of.

On 23rd October, I will be taking part in Strictly Saint Francis, and I still can’t believe I’ve been chosen as one of this year’s contestants!

I’m dancing for my mum🩷. She is living with Alzheimer’s, and although she can no longer fully express herself, I know she would be incredibly proud of me. Her journey has given me an even greater appreciation for the incredible care and compassion that Saint Francis Hospice provides to people in our community.

I also want to dance for the Saint Francis Hospice Retail Team🧡, who work tirelessly to raise vital funds for the hospice.

I have loved dancing since I was a little girl. I used to dance in front of the mirror wearing my mum’s high heels and pretending I was on stage. Today, I still dance around my living room to Latin, Caribbean, and West African music—and sometimes I get so carried away that I forget I’m supposed to be cleaning!

I may not be a professional dancer, but I am ready to learn with my super dance teacher Frankie, have fun, and give it my all for Saint Francis Hospice! 🧡🩷🧡🩷🧡🩷
