Merrill Lynch is raising money for Crossroads Care Surrey

I'm A Director, Get Me Out Of Here! 2025 · 9 May 2025 ·

Who will be crowned the caring King or Queen of Surrey in 2025? Directors of Surrey organisations will undergo various Bushtucker trials and anything else that is thrown at them whilst competing for stars and fundraising for Crossroads Care Surrey.

Story

We're so excited that our Joint Managing Director, Merrill Lynch, is participating in I'm a Director, Get Me Out Of Here 2025! This much-anticipated event will be held at Woking Football Club in May and is inspired by the TV show “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!”, packed with interesting challenges for the contestants.

They’ll come face to face with their fears in the reptile challenge

They'll have a chance to discover how refined their pallet really is with the eating challenge

As a team they will take on the physical challenges.

This is in partnership with our customer Balfour Beatty as part of their M25 J10 Scheme and is all to raise funds for Crossroads Care Surrey.

In Surrey alone, there are over 120,000 unpaid carers, which is more than 10% of its population. These unpaid carers selflessly care for their loved ones, often at the expense of their own physical and mental health. They are the glue that holds families together, providing vital care 24/7 without holidays, sick pay, or a break.Crossroads Care Surrey exists to support these unsung heroes by offering much-needed respite breaks, from companionship visits to end-of-life care. This support not only helps carers recharge but also prevents early hospital admissions and reduces pressure on the NHS, saving the UK economy £132 billion annually.

By donating to this campaign, you can help us provide even more respite breaks for Surrey's unpaid carers. Everyone deserves a break…none more so than an unpaid carer.
