Final fundraising run in memory of my father Mervyn.

Final fundraising run in memory of my father Mervyn.
It has been almost four years since I have started running and now I am doing the London Marathon once again for a final fund-raising effort in memory of my father.
I nervously started off running by using the NHS couch to 5k app. I would get up early in the morning and do the sessions on the quiet path behind the fire station where I once lived. Three years on from this I am running 3-4 times a week covering a distance of over 25km each week. I feel fitter and it has benefitted my mental health.
I am running for Sense a deaf blind charity, my father was deaf and went blind so I want to raise awareness for the important work that they do.
In the summer of 1998 a year before my father Mervyn went blind he sat at our dining table and drew birds. I have traced his favourite bird a Robin and produced and intaglio print of it. I will be selling these for £50 each and all of the £50 will go to my fundraising goal. Please let me know if you are interested in one of these. An image of the print is in the gallery.
The 2025 London Marathon falls on the 4th anniversary of my father's passing, for me it will be an emotional run to the finish.
Any donations big or small will be most gratefully received.
