It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mervyn, who bravely fought a long and hard battle against cancer. He passed away peacefully on 10th September at the age of 62. Mervyn faced his illness with strength, grace, and unwavering determination, serving as an inspiration to all who knew him.
Mervyn was a devoted family man who loved Jeannette and their nine children more than anything. His greatest joy came from making them happy and bringing everyone together. He adored Jeannette, cherished his children, and loved their dog, Miska, like a son. Mervyn was also incredibly proud of his eight grandchildren, whom he adored. Alongside his family, his passion for Manchester United was a big part of his life, but nothing compared to the love he had for those closest to him
He will be remembered for his sense of humour, kind and caring nature, love for family and friends and the incredible courage he showed throughout his journey.
