Story
166,000m in ONE day for Parkinson's!
Why? 166,000 people in the UK live with Parkinson’s disease, including our mum and Hashtag United wonder-woman, Sindy Carmichael-Brown.
So in order to raise funds and awareness of the disease, the challenges it causes and the resources out there to help those suffering with it, Sindy's husband and son's (Steve, Seb, Spencer & Saunders) alongside friends and family, will be taking on the challenge of completing 166,000m, or 415 laps around an athletics track in a single day on the 12th October 2025.

Your money goes towards initiatives like funding Parkinson's nurses and allied health professionals, providing access to helplines and local support, and supporting the Parkinson's UK Brain Bank, which provides essential brain tissue for research.
