Story
This March, we are joining thousands of others across the UK to take on the Walk in Her Name challenge, walking 100km throughout the month to help fund lifesaving ovarian cancer research.
For me and my family, this cause is deeply personal. My daughter has battled ovarian cancer, and I am grateful to share that today she is doing the best she has been since her diagnosis. Watching her strength, and courage through every appointment, every unknown, and every hard day has shaped my perspective on life and the things that truly matter. My daughter is one of my biggest inspirations!
I am walking to honor her journey.
I am walking for the women who are fighting right now.
I am walking in memory of those we have lost too soon.
No woman or family should have to walk this road alone.
With ovarian cancer, survival is far more likely if it's caught early. Yet in the UK, 71% of women are diagnosed late, and only 30% live beyond 10 years.
That has to change. This walk is about more than miles. It's about awareness. It's about research. It's about earlier diagnosis, better treatments, and real hope.
I want every step to count for more than distance. I want it to bring funding, breakthroughs, and a better future for women and families everywhere.
This Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, please support us as we Walk in Her Name.
Together, we can change the story.
Thank you for walking with us.
