This year the Captains' charity is TVAP. This is a local charity that supports children and adults with all types of special needs, however mild or profound in a safe, caring and stimulating environment. TVAP is run by a voluntary Board of Trustees, with on-site care provided by 8 permanent and over 20 sessional staff, supported by a loyal band of volunteers. The annual running costs are £350,000 with ¾ of that being salaries.
