Story
On Friday 28th March, Sixth Form students at Maidstone Grammar School for Girls will be taking part in a Sleep Out to raise vital funds for Porchlight, Kent’s leading homelessness charity. This event is more than just a challenge—it’s an opportunity to stand in solidarity with some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
Students will take part in a workshop with Porchlight, build their own shelters, and spend the night outside with only a simple meal and minimal comforts. Through this experience, they will gain a deeper understanding of the realities of homelessness while working together as a community to make a difference.
Please donate and help us live out our school motto:
Non sibi sed omnibus – Not for oneself but for all.
Thank you for your generosity!
