I am cycling 196 miles from Edinburgh to Newcastle over 3 days following the Coast & Castles route from 30 August to 1September 2024

I am raising money for Bed Poverty Campaign organised by the Cause Foundation Middlesbrough.

Many low-income families across the country do not have access to suitable beds for both themselves and/or their children. It's inconceivable that many are sleeping on sofas, blow up mattresses and even the floor and 'Bed Poverty' is the new term being used to describe the situation.

The Bed Poverty Campaign provides beds, duvets, pillows and bedding to families in need in the Middlesbrough area.
