I am excited to be walking the 2026 Edinburgh Kiltwalk on Sunday 13th September with the amazing SSE Scooters again, raising important funds for the wonderful charity, Career Ready. The Career Ready programme makes a transformational change to young people’s lives and futures, and every donation counts to support more and more young people, each year. Young people who, because of their background, don’t have access to the opportunities or support they need to flourish.

I need your help to raise my fundraising target. Career Ready is a social mobility charity, so by supporting Career Ready you are investing in young lives and contributing to brighter, empowered and inspired futures. Your donation, no matter how large or small, is so greatly appreciated.

Training has started, albeit a bit slower this year, with Plantar Fasciitis and ankle pain joining in the fun - BUT I am as determined as ever, and once again look forward to sharing this adventure with the SSE Scooters, as we go the long way (20 miles) for a shortcut, from Holyrood Park to Murrayfield - with a smile on our faces and a spring in our step.
