Canoeing 100 miles on the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal · 29 August 2024

CAFT helps children aged 17 and under who through no fault of their own miss out on the normalities of childhood. A free day visit, residential stay or themed visit, provides these children with a much needed opportunity to have fun & laughter and to simply enjoy being children.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page.

My mum, & dad, brothers, my boyfriend and his dad will be helping me with my aim to canoe 100 miles along the Monmouthshire & Brecon canal to raise money for the Children's Adventure Farm Trust.

I came up with this idea after completing my Silver DofE award.

CAFT (Children's Adventure Farm Trust) is an incredible charity! They support thousands of children who miss out on important childhood experiences because they have a chronic illness, a disability or social disadvantage. Just last year 20,000 children benefited from the charities work.

When the children come to CAFT, they come with their families, schools or groups, so that they can all enjoy some incredible experiences together, away from the pressure and the stress of everyday lives.

This year the charity are aiming to support visits for 21,000+ disadvantaged children, to their 10-acre site in Millington, in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.

Please donate to this amazing cause. And... help make a difference in these children's lives.
