In August this year, I will be traveling to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, with three colleagues from Bayes Business School to volunteer for "Helping Hanna's Community," a community-based project that cares for children in need, in support of Holistic Opportunity for Humanity (HOH).

I am raising funds to support HOH and the incredible children they care for. I would be deeply grateful for any form of support.

HOH currently supports over 200 children who have experienced loss or hardship, providing safe homes and essential care, some through orphanages and others through family-based support. It began by caring for children who lost both parents to HIV or whose parents were too ill to care for them.

Around 90% of the children supported by HOH have gone on to complete school, continue into higher education, and become independent adults, showcasing HOH's amazing impact. Beyond supporting children, HOH works with vulnerable families and elderly members of the community, helping create meaningful change across Addis Ababa.

In Addis Ababa, my colleagues and I will be teaching children English in creative and engaging ways. I will be using theatre, games, sports, storytelling, and interactive activities to build confidence and make learning fun. Our role as volunteers is to support existing programs and bring extra encouragement, creativity, and positive energy into the classrooms.

Every donation goes directly toward practical needs and essential necessities. Over the coming months, I will be organising small fundraising events in London and Belgrade where there will be opportunities to donate in person, but for now, please support the cause through this link.
