Story
This June we are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks, not only as a personal challenge but to remember Mia's friend Hannah. Mia was keen to take on the challenge and of course roped in wonderful friends, Helen, Lisa and Miriam along the way!
Mia met Hannah while working at St Gemma's Hospice and even when Hannah left, remained firm friends forever more. Hannah was everyones' biggest cheerleader, inspiration and all round wonderful human.
Hannah is deeply missed every day. She would absolutely have taken the Three Peaks in her stride; one of Hannah's well known 'happy places' was out climbing mountains so it felt fitting for us to take on this challenge in her honour.
St Gemma's Hospice supported Hannah and her family and continues to support local people facing the most difficult of times. It is an incredible place offering compassion, care and love when it is most needed.
If you are able to support us and make a donation to our fundraising page for St Gemma's Hospice, thank you.
