Story
I will be running the London Marathon in 2026 for Children with Cancer UK—a charity that means an incredible amount to me.
In September 2021, my friend Amelia was diagnosed with Acinic Cell Carcinoma. Thanks to treatment, she is now doing well. Then, in March 2023, my friend Anmol was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and received chemotherapy, and is now cancer free. Both of them faced cancer before turning 16.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to run the London Marathon in support of Children with Cancer UK, helping raise funds for the vital research, care, and support they provide to children and families affected by childhood cancer.
Children with Cancer UK:
Our vision is a world where every child and young person survives cancer.
For 35 years, Children with Cancer UK has funded much needed research into the causes of childhood cancers, and the development of better, kinder treatments as well as funding initiatives that support children and their families through cancer treatment and beyond.
Our work has contributed significantly to a marked increase in childhood cancer survival rates and improved quality of life for patients.
