As a Black woman, I know that one day I’ll go through menopause myself. I’ve grown up around so many strong Black women who have walked through that journey, and watching them has opened my eyes to just how real, challenging, and transformative it can be. For too long, menopause has been something whispered about, brushed aside, or endured in silence. I don’t want that for myself, and I don’t want that for other women like me.
I want to shed light on it, to normalize the conversation, and to remind us that this stage of life doesn’t take away from our power—it can actually redefine it. We deserve to feel supported, informed, and celebrated in every season of womanhood
