Skydive for the Owen McVeigh Foundation
Hi everyone,
In May, I’ll be taking part in a skydive to raise money for the Owen McVeigh Foundation.
As many of you know, our son Charlie was diagnosed with a brain tumour in September. He underwent brain surgery at Alder Hey to remove part of the tumour, followed by six weeks of radiotherapy at The Christie in Manchester.
During this incredibly difficult time, we were introduced to the Owen McVeigh Foundation by our key worker at Alder Hey. This amazing charity has given Charlie — and our whole family — experiences and memories we’ll treasure forever. We honestly can’t put into words how much their support lifted us during the hardest time of our lives.
Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and will help this wonderful charity continue supporting families like ours.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read and for any support you can give.
Michael and Abby
