Hello

I am a 65yo Team Member at Bath YHA and everyday I see the life changing opportunities and experiences that the Hostels provide for people of all ages. I am hoping to raise awareness and funds for the YHA's "No Child Left Behind" initiative by cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End over 24 days, starting on 1st May 2024, making use of the Hostel network each night. This adventure is, in part, intended to inspire others to make the most of each and every day. I suffered a stroke a few years ago leaving me unable to walk initially. With the help of my (then) teenage son I (re)learned to walk eventually. It helped me appreciate that I am not indestructible and I vowed to prioritise experiences over yet more 'stuff' from that point on. Please donate anything you can afford to this excellent and worthwhile charity.
