Story
After saying I'd never run a marathon again, I'm running the Manchester marathon in April for Lambourne End.
Lambourne End develops people, with a focus on young people facing challenges. Using our particular "54-acre classroom" next to Hainault Forest and its unique blend of adventure, farm, and environmentalal activities we support people in a safe and welcoming yet alternative environment, encouraging people to stay healthy, have fun learning, build their confidence, raise their self-esteem, and experience asense of achievement.
Demand for the centre is only increasing, and we have exciting ambitions with a new lake, obstacle course and more, but the site isn't able to take any more visitors.
Any money you can spare will go towards building the infrastructure we need to grow, including new solar panels to support our stretched power needs and upgraded sewage systems that can support more toilets and showers for people using the centre.
