I chair Derbyshire Childens Holiday Centre. We have been providing holidays for disadvantaged children from Derbyshire at our home in Skegness for over 130 years.

Originally the brainchild of Terry Willis for Derbyshire Childrens Holiday Centre, this is the second year that Cosy has organised the SkegVegas100 with cyclists completing the 100 mile journey from the heart of Derby to Skegness every year raising over £160k in total over the last 2 years.

Having cycled to Skegness twice before I will be doing the NEW for 2025 Amble to Ashbourne; a 20 mile walk from the heart of Derby, following the Bonnie Prince Charlie route to the centre of Ashbourne, gateway to the Peak District.

Fundraisers will select their event, assemble at the Derby Arena on Saturday 17th May 2025 and Bike or Hike their way to raising much needed funds to support local children’s holidays.

All of the money raised from the Bike & Hike in 2025 will provide much-needed holidays for young children from Derbyshire, who face significant challenges in their day to day lives. Monies raised will be divided equally between Derbyshire Childrens Holiday Centre and Derby Kids Camp - two great local childrens charities
