Michael's fundraiser for Freddie's Ataxia Fund

Michael Crichton is raising money for Freddie's Ataxia Fund

Tough Mudder Scotland 2026 · 6 June 2026 ·

Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA) is a rare neuro-degenerative disease. It affects balance, coordination, mobility, fine motor skills, and fatigue amongst other things. By supporting us you will help us to deliver our vision of supporting people with FA so that they may have the best possible lives.

Story

Friedreich's Ataxia is a genetic disorder which causes progressive damage to the nervous system resulting in movement problems and difficulties with co-ordination. Harris Academy pupil Eilidh Kiddie lives with the condition and I am taking on Tough Mudder Scotland on the 6th of June to raise awareness of the condition and raise money which will directly fund equipment for those with Friedrech's Ataxia.

I wouldn't ask anyone to do something I wouldn't do myself so to get the ball rolling I will put in £100.00. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
