Story
Hi everyone!! I’m Michael.
Previously a member of the Royal Air Force, I have always been in awe with what the Royal Air Force Association do for both the RAF family its wider community. That's why I feel incredibly honoured to be able to run the London Marathon on their behalf. 🔴⚪️🔵 ✈️🚁
From keeping the RAF community connected, to providing specialist training. RAFA doesn't only look out for veterans, but also current serving personnel and their families.
After completing a half marathon a few years ago, I have been looking for a new challenge
A year ago, my family and I relocated to Cornwall, and I very quickly found comfort in the local armed forces veterans community, from weekly breakfast meet ups, to surfing and cycling groups
"They were there for us in our darkest days.
We must not fail them in theirs."
Your generous donations will help the RAF Association continue to support serving RAF personnel, RAF veterans and their families. They benefit from a wide range of services including befriending, mental wellbeing training courses and bespoke casework support.
Whether you are able to give a little or a lot, every contribution count
