I certainly understand some of the problems experienced by the partially sighted, having lost the sight in my left eye aged 15. Now, nearing 70, I regard myself as very fortunate in having led a full and active life. I have been an avid cyclist since childhood and hope this forthcoming ride, from Baxterley to Barcelona over a fortnight, will raise money to help those less fortunate than me.
